Free Labels

I like all my spiders labelled correctly with the scientific name as well as the common name. It’s just good etiquette and prevent species from  getting sold incorrectly.

If you also like to label all your spiders, but don’t have time to make your own labels, we can make them for you for free. All you have to do is print, cut and stick them on your tanks.

What we need from you are the following:

1.) List of species and the amount of each.

2.) Email address which I will send the labels to.

Here is an example of how the labels look like:

A- Aggressiveness
S- Speed
D- Docile
CH- Can Handle
NH- Handling not recommended

Violet tree spider- Tapinauchenius cupreus

We only have about 12 violet tree slings left. They are a popular collectors item. So don’t forget to order yours.

They are velvet in appearance showing blue, purple and green this is one beautiful spider!

Interestingly this New World arboreal lacks urticating hairs. Adults are not so skittish or aggressive. My females are not aggressive at all.

The slings might be fast and have mastered the jump and roll action. When they fall from branches they tug their legs in and form a little ball, once they land on the ground they roll and walk off as if nothing happened.

They are medium growers and grow to about 13cm.
